| Macalister 9829 - Coal from the Downs
New video release from Express Train Video - Australia features the "new" 2300 class diesel electric locos on the move with coal from the Darling Downs township of Macalister west of Dalby to the Port of Brisbane at Fisherman Islands. Much of the journey is made in daylight, however we also see the train running through the suburbs of Brisbane after dark. With a running time of 120 minutes, there is footage from 'trackside', driver's eye view and a few other less common angles. Minimal commentary and lots of live sound makes this a valuable record of these heavy haul trains. |
