The Laidley Spring Festival will be in full swing with the Laidley Flower Show, Street Procession, Orchid Shows, and Arts and Craft displays. There will be time there to explore this prosperous town with its 3 hotels and many shops.
The train meanwhile, will run a local tour over "the hill" to Grandchester and then return to Laidley.
Train Information
: The recently restored C17 class steam locomotive no. 974 has been requested for this tour and is expected to be available. Wooden carriages from QR's heritage fleet will be used.
