Tour Change - Rough it Express

E-mail Print PDF

We regret to inform patrons intending to travel on the Rough it Express to Wandoan that QR has deemed the Wandoan branch to be unsuitable for Passenger Train usage. The good news is that we have been able to secure a new destination, keeping within the theme of the original trip. We are now branching off at Dalby and heading up the Meandarra branch. The overnight stop will now be at Tara.

If you have previously booked this trip, your booking will still be honoured.

E-mail Print PDF
We regret to advise that due to circumstances beyond it's control the NSW Division of the ARHS have had to cancel the planned CPH Rail motor for the Queen's Birthday week end." Hence the local tour from Brisbane to Kyogle which was to be run by Sunshine Express Rail Tours and Trainaway Tours will not be proceeding. All who had booked for the local tour to Kyogle have been fully refunded.
We are hopeful of arranging another date for this tour.

Welcome to ARHS Qld's new website!

E-mail Print PDF

We thought it was time to get the spit and polish out and give the website an overhaul. We've thrown a new donk under the hood, a lovely new paint job has been slapped on, and the hours of testing has been completed. We hope you enjoy the new look.

Many thanks to Jacob Cash, Chris Banks for assisting with the upgrade, along with Dean Stalker who has kindly donated web hosting and development expertise in getting us up and running.
